SUSTAINABILITY.

Becoming B Corp certified in February 2023 was an important milestone for us, recognising the work we’re doing to build a more responsible business and our commitment to continually doing better.

The B Corp framework sets a high bar, and we knew the certification process would challenge us to look closely at how we operate and where we could do better. It’s given us a clear focus on making positive changes and improving year after year.

We’re committed to continuing that journey, making sure we consider the impact of what we do on our people, our communities and the environment when making decisions across the business.

SINCE 2020 WE HAVE:

  • Reduced Scope 1 & 2 Carbon emissions by 43%.

  • Reduced the litres of fuel used for logistics by 30%.

  • Reduced water usage by 39%.

  • Reduced oil-based products by 21%.

  • Increased the use of fully recyclable plastics by 53%.

  • Sent no waste to landfill.

OUR JOURNEY TO NET ZERO

Our target is to be carbon neutral by 2030. A big part of that is reducing our footprint in the first place — from improving our energy supply to replacing older machinery. We expect these changes to reduce our emissions by more than 70%. For what’s left, we’ll work with our climate partner, Carbon Quota, to support verified schemes that help us address our remaining emissions.
